This final communiqué draws together the conclusions and recommendations of the national workshop organised by Guinea's Ministry of Energy and Water with the support of GWI West Africa on 4-5 March 2015. The workshop focused on the legislative and administrative reforms regarding land tenure which need to take place in Guinea in the context of the planned construction of Fomi dam in the Upper Niger River basin. Representatives from the Ministries of Agriculture and Rural and Urban Planning as well as local government, civil society and donor organisations also took part in the workshop discussions.
