This report summarises the outcomes of three national workshops organised by GWI West Africa and its partners in Dakar, Ouagadougou and Bamako on 1, 4 and 11 June respectively.

Participants of the three national workshops were provided an exchange platform on issues surrounding agricultural advice services - a key consideration in the improvement of production conductions of smallholders - and how to adapt these services to large dams. Farmers and dam management agencies shared the outcomes of their GWI-facililitated self-assessment of agricultural advice services with local authorities, donors and civil society, and participants discussed and refined the action plans that emerged from this process.

This report sums up the objectives and progress of the workshops, analyses their outcomes and lays out the action points agreed upon by participants.
